Welcome to the 3rd LPMO Symposium

We are pleased to announce the following confirmed invited speakers and their topics

  • Serena DeBeer (Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion, Mülheim, Germany): redox chemistry of copper sites in LPMOs and pMMOs.
  • Jean Guy Berrin (French National Institute for Agriculture, Food, and Environment (INRAE), Marseille, France): fungal secretomes; LPMO-like proteins, other fungal oxidoreductases in LPMO-rich secretomes.
  • Priit Valjamae (University of Tartu, Estonia): mechanistic aspects, kinetics.
  • Katja Johansen (University of Copenhagen, Denmark): mechanistic aspects, applications, inhibitors.
  • Mirjam Kabel (Wageningen University and Research (WUR), The Netherlands): LPMO diversity, product analysis, links to lignin.
  • Federico Sabbadin (University of York, United Kingdom): LPMOs as virulence factors, biomass conversion.

We are sure that the combination of these invited speakers and speakers selected on the basis of submitted abstracts will provide participants with full coverage of contemporary LPMO issues, including LPMO discovery, LPMOs as virulence factors, mechanistic insights and methodology, enzyme kinetics and the role of reductants, structure and dynamics, industrial applications, LPMO-inspired catalysts, LPMO engineering, and the roles of LPMO-like proteins with no apparent catalytic function.

Registration is open. See the prices and register by clicking here or the “Registration” button at the top of the page. You may also submit your abstract for oral or poster presentation . The program is available .
